Made with supreme hot work tool steel, using HTS proprietary additive manufacturing technology that allows the implementation of the conformal cooling. Excellent combination of high toughness and resistance to thermal fatigue cracking (also known as heat checking) results in high cooling power >> reduction of cycle time and highest lifetime on the market.
Opens during injection due to its own elasticity and due to aluminium penetrating between ring and plunger.
Ensures contact plunger/sleeve at the back of the plunger due to its own elasticity.
Made with softer steel, the spring bush slides easily and doesn’t damage the inner surface of the sleeve. PERFORMA T-RS version includes a spring bush (back ring) which has been specially designed for vacuum systems.

Plunger rings help to streamline operations and reduce costs by decreasing the need for frequent changes and repairs. -
Compatible hardness:
Using the same materials for the sleeve and ring minimizes friction and wear on both components, extending their lifespan, leading to less downtime. Opens during injection due to its own elasticity and due to aluminum penetrating between ring and plunger. The ring's assembly and removal is quick, and can be done directly on the machine, minimizing downtime.

The conformal cooling of the steel allows the heat removal rate to surpass that of BeCu tips while extending its lifetime due to low transient stresses in the membrane.
